Denpasar, November 15, 2024 – The 2024 National Work Meeting (Rakernas) of the Indonesian Foreign Exchange Trade Association (APVA) was successfully conducted at The Grand Hotel Cakra, Denpasar, on November 8-9, with over 100 APVA members from across Indonesia in attendance.

The meeting, led by the plenary session chairperson, addressed several key agendas crucial to the association’s future.
After the main event, participants enjoyed a tour to Nusa Penida, followed by a closing dinner at Warung Leka-Leka in Seminyak, Kuta. The event concluded with heartfelt messages from participants and reflections on the meeting’s success.
Special guests, including representatives from Bank Indonesia (BI) headquarters and Bali, as well as the National Police Criminal Investigation Agency (Bareskrim Polri), were present to provide guidance on mandatory regulations for money changer operators. These insights aim to prevent legal issues and ensure compliance within the industry.
Additionally, Jero Bendesa Adat Kuta, Nyoman Alit Ardana, expressed his appreciation and support for the meeting. He emphasized the importance of implementing work programs that benefit all stakeholders and reaffirmed his commitment to safeguarding Kuta village visitors from irresponsible illegal money changer practices.
Chairman of the National Executive Board (BPP) of APVA Indonesia, Datuk Amat Tantoso, entrusted the Bali Regional Executive Board (BPD APVA Bali) to host this year’s Rakernas. The meeting aimed to align the organization’s vision and mission while formulating the annual work program for APVA’s leadership.
The 2024 APVA Rakernas marks a significant moment to strengthen the organization, ensuring that money changer operators adhere to regulations, thereby maintaining order and security for tourists in Bali.
